Speech Therapy PD, in partnership with the University of the Pacific/Benerd College, offers Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) the opportunity to earn non-degree graduate-level semester credits/units.

About the University of the Pacific/Benerd College

The University of the Pacific/Benerd College, accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, offers graduate-level professional development courses through Speech Therapy PD. These courses are designed for SLPs to advance their careers and meet recertification requirements.

Registration Process

Some school districts may require pre-approval prior to enrollment. It is your responsibility to know your district's policies and seek pre-approval if necessary.

Register Online: Complete the secure registration form for one or multiple courses. You'll receive a confirmation email with order details and course instructions.

Download Syllabus: Access detailed course syllabi above to guide your learning.

Subscribe: Sign up for the Professional (recommended) or Basic subscription.

Join The SLP Hub: Find a suggested list of videos for each course. Engage with instructors and peers in our exclusive community for course participants.

Start Learning: Follow the instructions in your confirmation email to begin your course.

Submit Coursework: Email your reflection paper and course hours log to yoomi@speechtherapypd.com upon completion.

Do you know if there is a suggested list of videos?

Yes. The SLP Hub Community page has a suggested list of videos that you can access through the Dashboard on SpeechTherapyPD.com. The list is not exhaustive, but it is a great way to get you started.

How long do I have to complete a course?

You have up to a year from the registration date to complete a course.

Is an extension available?

A request for extension is considered case by case.  Please reach out to yoomi@speechtherapypd.com to inquire.

How quickly will I get my grade once I submit my coursework/paper?

Please allow 3-5 days for your paper to be reviewed and graded.  Once graded, you should get an email confirmation with your grade.

How do I get an official transcript?

Ordering an official transcript online is quick and easy through Parchment. When completing your transcript order on Parchment, reference your Student ID (from the unofficial transcript you receive in the mail).  Click here to order an official transcript.

How do I get a receipt for my tuition?
